Strengthening Digital Resilience in K–12, Vocational Education, and Teacher Training
CyberSecure Teaching supports teachers and teacher educators in building cyber hygiene skills and cybersecurity awareness for safer learning environments. The project develops practical learning resources, a European Community of Practice, and international Summer Schools for K–12, VET, and teacher education contexts.
We develop new teaching and learning resources and curate existing materials to help educators teach cybersecurity awareness and apply cyber hygiene practices in everyday school life, including a MOOC to widen access.
We establish a platform integrated with this website, bringing together teachers and experts around current cybersecurity topics relevant to education — through discussions, expert inputs, and shared resources.
We run two Summer Schools (2027 in Setúbal, Portugal & 2028 in Jyväskylä, Finland) to strengthen educators' practical competence through lectures, hands-on activities, and collaborative work across countries and education sectors.
Nine partners across Europe (Finland, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Czech Republic) combine expertise in teacher education, primary and secondary education and VET, educational technology, cybersecurity, and inclusion.
CyberSecure Teaching is delivered by a consortium of nine organisations bringing complementary expertise from teacher education, schools, VET providers, higher education, and cybersecurity research.
